  • Museum of Marble Crafts of Tinos
    museological prospects that will ensue from the cooperation of the private sector with the thematic museums with the public sector and the archaeological museums The Museum of Marble Crafts in Pirgos on the island of Tinos was created by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation PIOP which is also responsible for running it It belongs to the Foundation s Network of Thematic Museums and is the first of its kind in Greece The museum is housed in modern fully equipped installations that include a multipurpose hall and which were built so as to tie in harmoniously with the island s characteristic landscape Included in the 2000 2006 Regional Operational Programme of the Southern Aegean the project was financed by the Third Community Support Framework as well as by the Piraeus Bank The museum presents the technology of marble a material with a particular place in the architecture and art of Greece from ancient times to the present At the same time the intricate meshing of tools and techniques is described in detail In parallel to the above the emphasis given to the pre industrial and proto industrial periods in Tinos the most important centre of marble crafts in Modern Greece brings to the fore the social and economic context in which the local workshops evolved The permanent exhibition comprises a variety of original works in marble mundane ecclesiastical funerary and everyday objects door lintels fountains family crests corbels shrines mortars etc clay models and plaster of Paris copies as well as quarrying cutting and carving tools mechanical equipment archival material and the richest collection of sketches of old marble carvings of the whole of Greece This impressive number of authentic objects was collected essentially thanks to people s sensitization but also that of public entities who donated or bequeathed them to PIOP Moreover in combination with the representations of a quarry of a marble craft workshop and of the assembling of a bishop s throne visitors have the opportunity of familiarizing themselves with traditional techniques and processes regarding the quarrying initial hewing and transportation of marble as well as those concerning the shaping and positioning of a work in marble thus following the entire trajectory from the raw material to the finished article At the same time the exhibition s audiovisual material brings to life the traditional working methods of the quarryman and the marble craftsman while the travelogue s photographs record the intense presence of marble across the width and breadth of Tinos and incites visitors to go on their discovery missions of the island Finally the exhibition extends into the museum s outdoor areas In the square in front of the museum s entrance a hoisting machine for blocks of marble and a trolley for their transportation from the quarry of Vathi are on show while on the balcony a wagon truck for chippings and rubble a bend corner and rails from the quarry of Patela are exhibited together with finished and in process marble works The historical

    Ioanisu Ikonomou kompaniji Jugopetrol AD Kotor kao i First Financial Bank na njihovom finansijskom doprinosu Emanuel Papadogiorgakis Ambasador Republike Grčke u Crnoj Gori Izražavam veliko zadovoljstvo što je Podgorica novog doba mjesto značajnih internacionalnih susreta kako u kulturi tako i u nauci Grad postaje prepoznatljiv po intezivnoj razmjeni ideja i iskustava znanja umijeća i ličnih doprinosa umjetnika sa raznih izvora stvaralaštva Na malom prostoru uspijevamo da uvežemo kulturne niti cjelokupnog regiona Domaćini smo još jednog takvog susreta susreta koji će ovog puta osvježiti veze sa antičkom kolijevkom Mirtis izložba o djevojčici iz Atine koja odvajkada pobuđuje ineresovanje svjetske javnosti predstavlja značajno civilizacijsko nasljeđe čovječanstva a danas je ovdje pred nama da pred crnogorskom publikom ispriča sagu staru skoro 2 500 godina Izložbena postavka nosi naziv Licem u lice sa prošlošću i zasnovana je na naučnoj rekonstrukciji lica djeteta koje je živjelo u drevnoj Grčkoj u 5 vijeku prije nove ere Epidemija tifusa tokom spartanske opsade Atine je odnijeka mnoge živote ali su ostaci jedanaestogodišnje djevojčice sačuvani od zaborava Arheolozi su nakon njihovog prvog susreta sredinom 90 ih godina prošlog vijeka nazvali okamenjeno tijelo mekim imenom Mirtis Američki galeristi su taj momenat obilježili riječima sudbonosni nastavak zaustavljenog djetinjstva Glasna poruka koja putuje sa izložbom po cijelom svijetu Naučno umjetničkim djelovanjem stručnog tima atinskog univerziteta istražujuću svestrano na polju arheologije medicine antropologije forenzike i kompjuterskog modelovanja oblikovana je Mirtis upravo onako kako je izgledala u vrijeme kada je živjela Izložba je od izuzetnog umjetničkog istoriografskog ali i sociološkog značaja Licem u lice oslikava se doba od prije 2 500 godina podsjeća na to koliko daleko moramo da pogledamo da bismo sagledali i razumijeli sadašnjost ukazuje na probleme u drevnoj Atini i na to koliko se njihova aktuelnost nastavila i u savremenom društvu Rezultat ovog naučnog rada je svojevrsna poruka kojom čudesno lice djevojčice budi savjest čovječanstva i ukazuje na podjelu odgovornosti ka ispunjavanju Milenijumskih ciljeva posebno onih koji se odnose na smanjenje smrtnosti djece i iskorjenjivanje ozbiljnih i pogubnih pošasti Kao ljekar svjestan sam kolika smrtnost vreba iza epidemija nalik ovoj ali nažalost veliki dio čovječanstva uprkos modernoj medicini i usavršenim ljekovima nespremno započinje i vodi bitke sa opakim bolestima Djeca su i nadalje najčešće žrtve zle kobi Najčistije i najjasnije riječi koje bude i pozivaju na medicinsku trezvenost su upravo postavljene na elektronskom portalu izrečene kroz usta malene Mirtis a dio te poruke glasi Moja smrt je bila neizbježna za to vrijeme Nije bilo ni znanja ni načina da se borimo sa bolešću Ali vi narode Dvadeset prvog vijeka posjedujete nauku i resurse i samim tim nemate prava na izgovore Ne dozvolite da strada više niti jedno dijete od bolesti koje su izlječive Dozvolite mi da istaknem da sam počastvovan time što je zahvaljujući inicijativi Ambasade Grčke Podgorica imala privilegiju prvog predstavljanja javnosti djevojčice Mirtis van granica Grčke i to u trenutku obilježavanja 130 godina od uspostavljanja diplomatskih odnosa između Crne Gore i Grčke Međusobno razumijevanje trajno prijateljstvo posvećenost humanim idealima crnogorski i grčki narod potvrdili su u prošlosti Ovom prilikom

    μέσα από την ανάγκη κατανόησης της διαφορετικότητας αλλά και της μοναδικότητας της ανθρώπινης φύσης ακολουθούν τα ίχνη της Μύρτιδος του 11χρονου κοριτσιού του 5ου αι π Χ του οποίου το πρόσωπο ανέπλασε η ομάδα του επίκουρου καθηγητή Γναθοχειρουργικής κ Μανώλη Παπαγρηγοράκη σε ένα φανταστικό της πέρασμα μέσα στο χρόνο και σε σημαντικές στιγμές της ιστορίας του ανθρώπινου πολιτισμού 5ος αι π Χ Αναγέννηση Αποτέλεσμα μιας σπάνιας έμπνευσης θεατρική πράξη όπου ο λόγος συναντά την κίνηση και το τραγούδι σε μια σκηνική απεικόνιση που θέτει ερωτήματα και δίνει απαντήσεις σχετικά με την υπαρξιακή αβεβαιότητα Οι 4 υπεύθυνες καθηγήτριες των σχολείων με τους συμμετέχοντες καθηγητές Καλλιτεχνικό Γυμνάσιο Λύκειο Γέρακα Φιλιώ Κρεμμύδη Μελίνα Κυζερίδη Ειδικό Γενικό Λύκειο Ιλίου Κρίνα Αναγνωστοπούλου Παναγιώτης Κατσαράς 1ο Γυμνάσιο Γέρακα Βάσια Γερμανού Φώφη Μυτιληναίου και 2ο Λύκειο Παλλήνης Βάσω Γωγούλου καλούν το σκηνοθέτη χορογράφο εικαστικό Τάκη Λουκάτο βραβευμένο με αριστείο από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και από το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσ νίκης για την παράσταση Μαγεμένος Αυλός πανελλήνιο βραβείο σκηνοθεσίας χορογραφίας 2008 να οδηγήσει τα παιδιά μαζί τους μέσα από τον ονειρικό κόσμο των γλυπτών κατασκευών του στην ανακάλυψη και ανάδειξη του εσωτερικού τους δυναμικού Ο καλλιτέχνης με την ευκαιρία της παράστασης και εμπνεόμενος από την αλληλεπίδραση αυτή ενσωματώνει τις κούκλες και τις κατασκευές του στην παράσταση παρουσιάζοντας μια πρωτότυπη επετειακή έκθεση Η μουσική επιμέλεια εκτέλεση είναι της Φιλιώς Κρεμμύδη Η παράσταση θα παρουσιαστεί στις 22 Ιουνίου 2015 στο Black Box Theater του Αμερικανικού Κολλεγίου Ελλάδος Γραβιάς 6 Αγ Παρασκευή στις 8μμ Next destination Myrtis s journey December 14 2013 Archaeological Museum of Karditsa November 11 2012 Archaeological Museum of Ioannina June 24 2012 Archaeological Museum of Delphi January 20 2012 PΙΟP Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil in Sparta October 22 2011 Archaeological Museum of Volos October 14 2011 PIOP Rooftile and Brickworks Museum N S
